Top businesses in Ontario, ranked by what they paid

Looking first beats being best.
When researchers secretly swapped the first two search results, people clicked the one that merely looked like number one almost three times more often than the genuinely better answer. Second place is the one everybody measures against first.

About this board
How is this list of businesses in Ontario ranked?
By money, and only by money. Each business is ranked by the total it has paid to be listed, highest first. When two have paid the same, the one that got there first ranks higher. There are no editorial picks, no reviews and no algorithm: the order is public and it is the order of the amounts you can see on the page.
How much does it cost to be number one for businesses in Ontario?
$10 CAD right now. Taking first place always costs $5 more than the current leader's total, and taking any other spot costs $1 more than whoever is holding it. The price changes as people pay, and the calculator shows the exact amount before checkout.
Is every business in Ontario listed here?
No. A business appears here either because it paid to be listed, or because it was added as an unclaimed listing from public information so the board was useful from day one. Unclaimed listings sit at the bottom at zero until somebody claims them. Any business can claim its listing from $10 CAD, or ask through the contact page to be removed, which is done within two business days.
